At the National Phlebotomy Providers Network, we believe that you should have a say and a choice in the way that you receive healthcare.
As the nation’s premier mobile phlebotomy service it is our mission is to provide affordable, reliable, efficient, and compassionate patient-centered healthcare across the country.
A mobile phlebotomist is a highly-trained, qualified, and certified professional that draws blood and collects other samples associated with diagnostic and maintenance lab tests. The best part is that our mobile phlebotomists come directly to you!
Simply schedule an appointment through our patient portal below and leave the rest to us.
Our mobile phlebotomists are all fully licensed through the state and national agencies, and they are trained to follow all current FDA-mandated safety measures including those put into place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In many ways, it is actually safer to have a mobile phlebotomist come to you than for a patient to go to a lab for their testing. With a mobile phlebotomist, you don’t have to worry about mobility issues, weather conditions, or exposing yourself unnecessarily to a room full of germs.
We want to make your at-home phlebotomy experience as easy and relaxing as possible.
Before your appointment, your doctor will tell you if you need to fast before the blood draw, and will recommend that you stay well hydrated. This will help the phlebotomist find your veins easier, and the fasting state will ensure accurate results for your tests.
When your phlebotomist arrives, they will introduce themselves and explain the procedure. They will verify your demographic information and will review the doctors orders and prep the collection equipment.
Then, they will apply a tourniquet to your arm so that they can find a suitable vein for the venipuncture. They will then clean the area with an antiseptic solution and once it dries they will use a new, clean, and sterile needle to perform the venipuncture.
You may feel a small pinch, but you shouldn’t feel anything more than slight discomfort. The phlebotomist will then collect the tubes in order. Once the tubes are collected, they will remove the tourniquet, remove the needle, and apply pressure to the area before bandaging it.
Afterwards, they will make sure that you are not lightheaded and will recommend that you have some water and a healthy snack as they label your tubes and carefully package them into their transport container before they leave and deliver your samples to the lab of your choice.
Typically, your results will then be available from your doctor after 48-72 hours. We do not directly perform the testing of samples nor do we provide lab results.
Getting started with the NPPN is simple. You can make an appointment for yourself or on behalf of a loved one or patient. We only require a few things to be able to make the appointment. These are:
Once you have this information, simply click on the patient portal button below to start the process.
Although many insurances will cover the cost of a home blood draw, Medicare is not one of them. We are working with them to hopefully be able to provide this service to those who have Medicare in the future, but at the moment they do not pay for it.
For those with Medicare and no other insurance, there will be a flat rate fee of up to $99. Our phlebotomists will be happy to provide you with a reimbursement form that you may be able to provide to your insurance carrier upon request.

While there may be other mobile phlebotomy services available in the Dallas area, we guarantee that none offer the quality that we do.
We are unique in that we directly hire our phlebotomists instead of relying on contractors, and we are direct partners with most major labs across the country. This gives us the ability to collect samples for any designated lab that you or your insurance indicates.
In addition, our mobile phlebotomists are trained to collect all at-home testing kits that your doctor may provide, and we are able to package and deliver those samples to the shipping provider of your choice (typically UPS, USPS, or FedEx) to be shipped off for testing.
Quest does not have a mobile phlebotomy division for their labs. Instead, they have partnered with the NPPN to provide that service to their patients.
LabCorp does not offer mobile phlebotomy from their labs. We are a contracted partner that is able to collect samples from their patients and deliver them on their behalf.
Rather than arranging transportation, fighting traffic, and endlessly waiting in line in order to get your blood drawn in Dallas, make an appointment today to have our mobile phlebotomists come directly to you!
Direct access testing is legally permitted in Dallas, TX, however, most phlebotomists and labs will not perform your phlebotomy without a doctor’s order.
In many cases, this is due to the national policies that these organizations have. Since there are many states in which direct access testing is not allowed, the policy is to not perform them in any state. In addition, getting your blood drawn and tested without a doctor’s form will typically become an out-of-pocket expense as your insurance will not cover any tests without the proper ICD-10 codes attached.
Our phlebotomists will not perform any venipunctures or sample collections without a laboratory requisition form or doctor’s orders.
In most cases yes. Our mobile phlebotomists service most major metropolitan areas including Dallas. If you are on the outskirts of town, please check with our support team to see if we are able to send a mobile phlebotomist to you.
We work with many insurance providers so that we can offer our services at a rate that is affordable, or in some cases, covered.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover the fee for a mobile phlebotomy. In those cases, we charge a flat fee of no more than $99 which will be due at the time of service.
